Design & Twine, a gift wrapping service, is a division of Design Realign, Inc., founded by Carla Gentle--a Certified professional, budget-conscious interior stylist focused on home staging (sell your home faster and for more money), interior redesign (one-day room makeovers using what you already own), and interior / holiday decorating. If you think about it, styling a home IS the equivalent of tying a bow on a gift. Styling a home and tying a bow on a gift are both a work of art and both bring everything together. It is in those finishing touches that bring WOW to a room or makes you not want to open the present because the wrapping is too pretty to destroy. Within each of these niches, we offer a wide range in style of gift wrapping papers and decorations--from farmhouse cozy to contemporary and modern--to give your gift a special touch to meet your individual or corporate needs.
*MOBILE SERVICES: Yes, it's true! If you have more than 10 gifts to be wrapped, we will come to you! We will set up a wrapping station in a suitable location within your home where you can choose from customized themes, color schemes, and design styles. Travel fees will apply and vary based on location. Per box pricing applies.
**REMOTE & SHIPPING SERVICES: Do you live outside the Chicago area but would still like to hire Design & Twine? Or, maybe you have friends or family in the area. Either way, you would ship your gifts to Design & Twine (a secure location will be disclosed), and once your gifts are completed, they will be shipped to an address of your choice or hand delivered to a recipient in the Chicago area. Besides being a gift wrapper, Carla is also a designer, decorator, stager, and color consultant. And just like her interior design projects, her gift-wrap projects are beautifully color coordinated and visually appealing, as Carla has an eye for what goes well together; and her care and attention to detail does not go unnoticed. No longer will you be restricted to a select few options at department stores (around 5 types of paper and one standard bow).
